About Yoshimura

Based in Gifu, Japan, I am an academic expert with a BA from Keio University and an MA from Hokkaido University.
With over 15 years of experience—including 7 years lecturing at 5 universities in China—I specialize in preparing international students for the EJU General Subjects and advanced academic Japanese.
My unique teaching philosophy, "Structural Understanding," goes beyond language skills, empowering students to master Japanese culture, history, and social studies through logical frameworks. About the lesson

I offer a wide variety of courses, including Japanese grammar instruction (using Minna no Nihongo and Marugoto), EJU general subjects, essay writing instruction, research plan instruction, interview instruction, and honorific language instruction. I have a proven track record of successful applicants. Using our experience, I will act as educational consultants to help you achieve your long-term goals.

・Japanese Grammar and Conversation:
I deeply understand the learning barriers international students face. I use this experience to provide clear and thorough explanations of even the most complex grammar points.
Hybrid Japanese teaching method using "Minna no Nihongo" and "Marugoto"

・General Subjects:
As a former high school social studies teacher and I leverage my experience teaching Japanese language, culture, and society at universities in China to help you efficiently improve the Japanese language skills needed for university study.
Slides are used in accordance with "High-Level General Subjects."

・Essay Writing:
Leveraging the logical thinking and writing skills I developed at Keio University, I provide comprehensive instruction on how to write compelling essays that lead to acceptance.
Students solve problems from Kochi Gakuen and Keitei Juku's EJU descriptive problem sets, and their answers are corrected.

・Interview Preparation:
I offer tailored interview preparation to help you confidently face interviews for your desired university or company. I have a strong track record of success, including coaching a Nepalese engineer who was successfully hired by Sumitomo Mitsui Construction.
There is a template. Training is conducted using "Nihongo Keigo Training" and slides.

・Statement of Purpose, Research Proposal:
Drawing from my research experience at Hokkaido University, I assist in creating persuasive and well-structured research proposals.
Corrected according to the university, faculty, and department.

・Keigo (Honorific Language) Instruction:
I provide practical instruction on keigo, the honorific language essential for social and business life in Japan.
