About Nora
I am a dedicated Guitar tutor with more than 7 years of experience teaching college students. My goal is to make guitar learning simple, engaging, and effective for every student.
My teaching style focuses on clarity, patience, and creativity. I understand that college students have busy schedules, so I design lessons that are well-structured and goal-oriented. I help students progress at a steady pace without pressure.
I use innovative methods such as song-based learning, step-by-step technique building, and guided practice plans. Instead of memorising theory, students learn how to apply it directly on the guitar. I also use rhythm training, strumming exercises, and fingerstyle practice to improve control and accuracy.
I encourage students to explore their musical creativity through improvisation and simple composition exercises. This helps them build confidence and develop their own playing style. I also support students in improving performance skills and stage confidence.
I believe learning guitar should be motivating and enjoyable. I create a positive learning space where students feel supported. My aim is to help college students develop strong guitar skills, musical understanding, and a lifelong love for music.

My teaching approach for Guitar is built on creativity, mentorship, critical thinking, and accountability. I believe every student can develop a personal connection with music. I encourage creativity by guiding students to experiment with melodies, rhythms, and songwriting, making lessons enjoyable and expressive.
I focus on critical thinking by teaching students to analyse songs, understand music theory in context, and improvise confidently. This helps them not only play songs but also think musically and solve challenges independently.
Accountability is central to my methodology. I help students set goals, track progress, and build consistent practice routines. I provide constructive feedback to foster confidence and self-discipline.
Beyond Guitar, I teach music theory, ear training, composition, and performance skills. I tailor lessons to each student’s style and pace, creating an engaging and supportive learning environment.
My ultimate aim is to mentor students into becoming creative, confident musicians who enjoy exploring and making music for life.
