About Sondra
I have been teaching elementary school for 23 years. I have taught Kindergarten to Grade 6. I know the importance of strong literacy skills. I have excelled at teaching my students to read and write and taken on leadership roles to assist other teachers about literacy.

Every day I strive to teach my students the love of reading. I want them to be excited to learn new letter sounds, words and be able to enjoy reading a bit more each day. Reading opens up their world in so many ways, allowing them to learn new things, become more confident and excel in school. I always say that reading is like a puzzle and the more pieces you put in the puzzle the more exciting it gets!
