I feel it is important that all student get the help they need when it comes to their learning. When it comes to a typical lesson plan I think it is always important to start with assessment to evaluate what the student understand and what they need help with. Next it will be important to review the type of math problem as a whole including reasons why you do each step. Next, the student and I will do a similar problem together while I guide them in the right direction. I will continue this process until the student is comfortable. Once comfort is achieved we will play a game with the material and finally asses for understanding.
