Background & Experience

My formal coaching journey began in 2009–2010 as a tutoring coach in the Special Education Department at El Camino College, located in Torrance CA. This foundational experience profoundly shaped my teaching philosophy. Working in special education taught me the importance of extreme patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt my teaching methods to fit each individual's unique learning style.

I bring this same highly adaptable, structured approach to my Spanish lessons today. I understand the mechanics of how people learn best and excel at breaking down complex concepts into easily digestible steps. I believe that language learning should be active, natural, and above all, fun. Instead of getting bogged down in endless textbook drills, my approach centers on conversational fluency and practical, real-world application. We will use interactive exercises, visual aids, everyday role-playing scenarios, and cultural context to make the vocabulary stick naturally.
