About Karizma

Hello! My name is Karizma, and I’m a dedicated high school student at Del Sol Performing Arts High School, where I’m part of the theater magnet program and have years of experience in writing, performing, and academic success. I specialize in geometry, creative writing, and poetry, offering a unique blend of academic clarity and creative expression. With over 9 years of acting and 4 years on a competitive dance team, I bring energy, discipline, and passion to everything I do—including tutoring. As someone who understands the challenges students face, I create a supportive, judgment-free space where learning feels manageable and even fun. About the lesson

As a tutor, I focus on making learning personal, creative, and easy to understand. Whether I’m teaching geometry or helping with poetry and writing, I meet students where they are and help build confidence one step at a time.

I use a student-centered approach, meaning I adapt to how you learn best—whether that’s visual explanations, hands-on examples, or breaking things down into simple steps. I love using real-life connections, games, and storytelling to make even tough topics stick.

For writing and poetry, I encourage students to explore their own voice and emotions while teaching them structure, rhythm, and literary tools. In geometry, I focus on helping students actually understand the why behind formulas, not just memorizing them.

Mini-lesson: A clear explanation of the day’s topic, using diagrams, examples, or mentor texts.
