About Laurie

After 6 years of experience in the renewable energy project financing sector, I would like to share my knowledge of Excel.

Graduated Engineer, from Grenoble INP (ENSE3), I have a very good knowledge of Mathematics and Physics, which allows me to easily approach modeling exercises and to convert a real problem on Excel spreadsheets. I continued to expand this knowledge with a Specialized Master in Finance at ESCP Europe Business School.

Previously based in London, during my work as a project finance Associate, performing financial modeling for renewable energy projects, it has always been required to be able to answer complex optimization questions (very) quickly. The mastery of functions, formatting, utilities, VBA, Excel page management was key to deliver a job of quality and appreciated by all my previous employers (General Electric, Enbridge, Anergi).

Patient and attentive, I've always loved teaching, which I confirmed when I taught Maths and Physics throughout my engineering studies.

I would like to pass on this knowledge, and especially to offer courses to help simplify your life by better understanding this software used worldwide, in multiple aspects of the professional life, but also which can prove to be very useful to organize certain aspects of your personal life.

With Excel, there is no teaching solution that will match everyone, so feel free to share your projects and objectives so that we can decide together on the best teaching approach to follow!

About the lesson

Whether it's because you've never used Excel but need to get started for a specific purpose, or because you're tired of wasting so much time on this software, at work, or organizing aspects of your personal life, I am offering a course to help you achieve your goals, whatever they might be. I also offer Macro courses (VBA) which allows to automate repetitive tasks or process a large amount of data.

Very patient, I will adapt to your needs. I like to teach and to show the various tricks of this fabulous software, even if, it must be admitted, this one can seem very complicated at first glance.

Engineer graduate of Grenoble INP and specialized at ESCP Europe, Business School, in the industry of renewable energy project finance, I have used Excel extensively over the past 6 years to meet the various project needs.
