About Jenifer
I’m an Industrial Engineer from Colombia, currently living in Canada. I have always enjoyed learning and sharing knowledge, and I especially love helping children discover that learning can be fun!
I have a 6-year-old son, and I enjoy teaching him through fun, creative, and interactive activities. This experience has helped me understand how important it is to be patient, encouraging, and adapt activities to each child’s age and learning style.

My teaching approach is based on patience, encouragement, and learning through fun and interactive activities. I believe every child learns differently, so I adapt each lesson to their age, level, personality, and specific needs.
1. Warm-up & Review
We start with a short and fun activity to review what we learned previously and get the child comfortable and ready to learn.
2. Main Learning Activity
We focus on one or two specific goals, such as practicing addition and subtraction, improving reading, learning new Spanish vocabulary, or understanding a homework assignment.
3. Learning Through Practice
Instead of simply memorizing information, we use games, questions, examples, drawings, stories, and practical exercises to help the child understand the concept.
4. Homework & School Support
When needed, we can work together on school homework, focusing not only on completing it but also on understanding why the answer is correct.
5. Positive Review
We finish by reviewing what the child learned and celebrating their progress. I want every child to finish the lesson feeling, "I can do it!"
