About Max
I've always found I understand topics better once I can teach them, so tutoring has always come naturally to me. I've worked as a tutor or mentor in one form or another for nearly ten years now, mostly in an academic context.
Beyond this, I'm an avid reader, gamer and train nerd. My favourite colour is burgundy, I prefer my pizza plain, and I love the music of Dire Straits.

Let me know in advance any topics or specific questions you're struggling with, and I'll prepare, in order to work through them together. I'll focus on exam-applicable examples, working through them with you to ensure you understand key principles and methods. If necessary, I'll cover the theory behind them. I won't rush you - work at a pace you feel comfortable with.
My sessions will last either 30 minutes or an hour.
I've worked as a tutor during my own schooling, and as a mentor in my time at University, helping students struggling with both academic and personal issues.
My sessions are aimed at students at GCSE or A-Level Maths, especially Further Maths.
