I prefer starting the explaination of topic from the scratch so that the student can build a strong basic and fundamental knowledge. I try and relate explaining concept using daily life examples so that once the interest in generated, it's easy to get the grip on the topic. Practising and solving a subject like maths over and again makes it even easier to understand and interesting.
