About Ishita
I am currently in my second year of an Electrical Engineering and Data Science Degree at UWA. I graduated with a 99.15 ATAR in 2024 studying Math Methods & Specialist, Physics, Chemistry, English and French.
I started off Year 11 with decent results. However, they were not quite up to par with my desired results. Then in Year 12, I changed how I study - focusing on developing a bigger picture idea of the concepts, consistent revision and ensuring previous mistakes were not repeated.
I believe I can help students do just that - turn their results around! All it takes is a little bit of hard work and the right guidance.

I believe in prioritizing the student's understanding of the reasoning behind concepts rather than just rote-learning of answers. It was my focus on deeper understanding of concepts that allowed me to achieve a high ATAR result.
My lessons will begin with a quick recap of previous lessons and testing previous concepts, then diving into explanations and questions of current topics.
I am happy to teach Math of all school levels, as well as Year 11 and 12 Chemistry and Physics. Whether you need only a few classes or weekly classes, my classes are run according to the student's needs. Please feel free to reach out either way!
