I am an English Literature student with a passion for helping others excel in English. I want to be a teacher, so the more experience I get, the better. I have been editing assignments for people I know for quite some time now. I give honest feedback and work toward meeting the needs of the person I am helping. In terms of methodology, I like to use lecture/discussion as well as visual aids. While I will have set outlines and goals per course, I would also be flexible to see how it would progress depending on who I am teaching. I think that having both theory and practice is important, so there will be exercises that the students will have a chance to participate in as well.
