About Laura
Hi my name is Laura Piccolo. I am a student in college in the Child Studies program. My goal is to become a teacher and try to help children reach their full academic potential. Something personal about myself is that I thrive with a busy schedule. When my plate is full, I am the best possible Laura!

My teaching method is based on the way your child learns best. I believe that altering my teaching style is important because not all children learn the same way. When teaching a child reading or writing or math or any subject, it is important to make it fun and interesting. When a child looses interest, they become unmotivated. I don't believe that having a tutor is negative thing, rather when I meet the children, I explain to them that I am a friend who is there to help them study. Having a tutor is very beneficial for children who have struggles or who just need a little push. For my location I am easily ready to be remote and come to the child's house. When a child learns in a familiar environment they tend to feel more comfortable. I am the most familiar with elementary school subjects. I can't wait to take on the challenge of making your child improve their grades.
