About Valerie

I have years of experience teaching and mentoring adults in a variety of areas. I have tutored students from a variety of cultures and their success has been significant. I work in conjunction with the Canadian Language Benchmark ensuring you are learning English in a balanced way I particularly enjoy supporting our Ukrainian friends.

About the lesson

You have been working hard to learn English as a new language and you have made great progress but you need to expand your vocabulary and practice your reading and writing skills. English is a tough language to learn, it can be frustrating. I focus on your specific needs and make it as relaxed and enjoyable as possible. We will meet at a mutually agreeable public location. I am partial to using our public libraries but I am open to suggestions.
