English Tutor for students of all ages - K to Grade 8 and Grade 9-12

Methodology

My teaching methodology is to make my students feel comfortable in my class and to enhance their confidence academically. My typical learning plan is to always ensure my students are focused by relating my lesson to their age group. Organized. Flexible.

Background

In 2019, I graduated from the University of Guelph with a Bachelor of Arts Honors, majoring in Sociology and minoring in Family and Child studies. While studying Child Development, I gained a passion for understanding the child mind and a desire to translate knowledge to youth. This year, i will be applying to teacher's college to fulfill a career where I get to support children academically. I would like to become a tutor to gain the experience of working with children and provide a child that one-on-one support they could possibly be lacking in the classroom.
