About William
I believe that building a rapport with students is of the utmost priority. If the student is comfortable with me then they will naturally be more open to learning. If I know the student better then I can specify my lessons to their specific learning styles. At the end of the day, no one wants to learn when they're bored so I hope to at least inspire enjoyment from the learning we do.

I teach native level English and have experience tutoring k-12. I also tutor ESL and have been for many years.
Tutoring English is all about learning to appreciate the language. There can be no improvement if there is no interest in improving. My largest challenge but also my favourite part of the tutoring process is assisting students in not simply learning English but inspiring them to enjoy it.
This is achieved through creative use of multiple forms of English media, it is highly important to incorporate the student's interests directly into the lessons.
