About Hiram
Hello, it's nice to meet you! My name is Hiram. I love Japanese culture and am interested in Japanese music, movies, anime, etc. My favorite hobby is reading. I read primarily non-fiction science books (especially psychology). I also enjoy learning languages, doing online courses, and puzzles. I am a native English speaker from Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. But, I am presently living in Japan. I am a certified English teacher with a 120-hour accredited TEFL certificate and over 2 years of experience teaching English online. I have travelled all over the world and have had the privilege to spend over 2 years in the Philippines, around six months in Germany, four and a half months in Costa Rica, six weeks in Uganda, a month in Malaysia, 12 nights in Vietnam, two nights in Singapore, all over the United States. and two months in my dream country Japan! I look forward to teaching you and becoming good friends!
