About Douglas
I am have a highly professional approach to my teaching. I have B.A., M.A., and Ph.D. degrees in English. I also have an LL. B. degree in law. I have over thirty-four years of experience teaching English in the classroom. I have five years of experience teaching English and law online. I have a highly student centred approach. I immerse the student in reading and writing English. I get the student involved in much activity and practise. My lesson plan consists of reading passages with writing exercises coming out of the reading topics. I am a very energetic and enthusiastic tutor. I am friendly, courteous, and reach out to the individual student. I have experience teaching from the grade eight level to the high school levels to the university level and to the graduate student level. I am very flexible and adaptable to the needs of the student. I very much look forward to working with you.
