About Joe
I am an enthusiastic Mathematics tutor with two years of tutoring experience. Having completed an Integrated Masters and Bachelors of Mathematics at the University of Leeds I have experienced how many students prefer to learn maths in different ways and so I make sure to vary my communication based on my student. Currently I am studying a Veterinary Medicine Degree at the University of Surrey and am looking to take on 3 - 4 new students from Key Stage 3 to A - level standard Maths.
For every lesson I provide a set of hand written notes for your child to take away, as well as a set of homework questions to cement understanding, (which if then scanned back to me I am able to mark before the next lesson, otherwise homework will be marked during the lesson). In between lessons I am more than happy for parents to contact me to go over any major sticking points, I believe that in order to get the best result for my students there should be a constant support.
I realise that every student is different and many of us learn in different ways from others, early on in my process I try to look out for these factors to tailor a bespoke experience for all students.
It matters to me that my students are able to do their best, and I pride myself on going the extra mile to make this possible!
