About Andrew

Hello, my name is Andrew and I am an Aerospace Engineer. Having recently graduated with a Master's from The University of Bristol, I understand how the mind of a student works and can use this in my role as a tutor to get the best from every one.

Having first tutored at the age of 15, I have experiences with all levels and abilities from Primary and GCSE up to A-level standard in Maths, Chemistry and Physics.

I also have extensive experience working with those that suffer from mental and physical disabilities, having volunteered weekly to lead workshops at The Chickenshed Theatre Company Charity.

It is common knowledge that every person is different, and to reflect this I like to dedicate the first lesson with every new student to understanding their current abilities and learning style. This helps me to streamline the learning process and make the lessons a more enjoyable and useful experience overall. After this initial lesson I can adapt my teaching style as I or the student sees fit, maximising the learning potential!

Andrew tutored me A level Maths, mostly core but also mechanics. He was really helpful at making the content seem simpler than taught at school, and didn't get frustrated if it took me a while to get things.
