About Sara
Hello! My name is Sara, and I’m really looking forward to working with you.
I’m a primary school teacher, and I absolutely love helping children learn and grow. I teach children from EYFS through to Year 6, so I understand how learning changes as you move up through primary school. One of my favourite parts of teaching is seeing that moment when something suddenly makes sense — it’s such a brilliant feeling!
I became a tutor because I know that sometimes children just need a little extra support or a different way of explaining things. In school, lessons can move quite quickly, and not everyone learns in the same way. That’s where I come in — I make sure learning feels clear, manageable and positive.
In our lessons, you’ll have a calm and supportive space where it’s completely okay to ask questions and make mistakes. We’ll take things step by step, build your confidence, and celebrate your progress along the way.
I truly believe every child can succeed with the right support, and I’m here to help you feel proud of what you can achieve.

I’m a friendly and patient online tutor working with primary school children from EYFS through to Year 6. I focus on the core subjects — English (including reading, phonics and writing) and Maths — helping children build strong foundations and grow in confidence.
My lessons are calm, supportive and tailored to each child’s needs. Every child learns differently, so I adapt my approach to suit their pace and learning style. Whether your child needs help catching up, building confidence, preparing for SATs, or simply strengthening their basics, I provide structured and encouraging support.
In English, I help children develop a love of reading, improve comprehension skills, build phonics knowledge, and grow in confidence with spelling, grammar and writing.
In Maths, I break down concepts step by step so children can truly understand what they’re doing, rather than just memorising methods.
I believe learning should feel positive and achievable. I create a safe space where children feel comfortable asking questions and are proud of their progress. My aim is not just better results, but helping children feel more confident and independent in their learning.
