About Francis
I am a graduate of the University of Bath (The Times & Sunday Times University of the Year 2023) with an integrated master's degree in mechanical engineering. I will be starting a SCITT PGCE in physics at a leading grammar school in September 2025, prior to this I worked in the commodity trading industry. Before university I took a gap year where I worked in a school and travelled to the United States. I completed my A-levels in maths, physics, and economics in 2018 at a secondary modern comprehensive. Please note I have an enhanced DBS check which is available upon request.

My lessons are focussed on creating an intuitive understanding of key concepts. I believe that this provides the best foundation for exam success. My lessons are typically 1 hour long, as studies show that after this point concentration and retention drop off significantly.
