About Aliex
Since completing my qualifications, I have been exploring opportunities to expand on my ambition to develop a career within tutoring/teaching.
My desire to teach young people and children is the path I want to pursue. I have enrolled in a teaching assistant course to start in September and am actively seeking opportunities to develop my knowledge and experience. My first job as a performing arts activities leader was an enriching and engaging role. I was able to use my learning and apply this to teach others. My employment enabled me to work in a school, whilst studying, and gave me experience of working with children, parents and teachers.
I was also a tutor for Key Stage Three pupils. I helps pupils with their math and English. For instance, I would help them with the comprehension and homework help. This boosted the pupils knowledge and confidence. This was a very rewarding job.
I will cater my teaching style to the pupil. For example, I will take into consideration how to pupil best learns. I like to engage the pupil into the lesson as much as possible and for them to have the best experience.
