About DARIUSZ
My name is DARIUSZ ZIEBA and I originally from Poland where I grew up and got my solid education that resulted in Master Degree in Germanic Philology from University of Wroclaw. I have been working as a teacher, instructor and tutor more than 30 years and I am always open to new techniques, strategies and methods in teaching languages.
I am still eager to learn other languages and practice the skills of these I have been studied. Besides English I can communicate, read and write in Polish, Russian, German, Spanish and Swedish. I can greet people in at least 30 various languages. My linguistic interests started back long ago when I had attended high school.
Teaching and learning languages is my life PASSION. But I also have many other hobbies and interests: geography, maps, atlases, nature, animals and flowers, mushrooms, music, movies, poetry, word games, board games, sports especially badminton, tennis, track and field, skiing, ice skating, psychology, outdoors, hiking, travelling, Postcrossing, collecting postcards, stamps, coins, banknotes, reading, theater etc.
My favorite life motto is Latin "Carpe Diem".

Over 20 years of experience in teaching ESL, German and Polish to Adult Learners in age 16 up to 90 ( my oldest student from Serbia Dorothy V. celebrated with other students and teachers her 90th Birthday!!!)
I have taught ESL classes of all levels and in my techniques I teach all aspects of the language including: pronunciation, speaking, reading, writing, grammar, even translation with advanced students.
I always emphasize on speaking and activities where learners use the language in real life, authentic situations and where students enjoy lessons. Vocabulary & grammar games, playing roles, singing songs have an important part of my curriculum. Students learn more when they feel comfortable, relaxed and entertained.
