About Janina
I love and respect my students, young and old. My goal is to assist them to integrate into the Canadian society with their proficient knowledge of English leading to success and satisfaction in their career pursuits. It is paramount for children in immigrant families to start their English training as soon as possible to ensure their smooth transition to education in English.

I taught preschoolers, elementary, high school students and PhD programs. Most recently I was teaching international students from Korea with impressive results. I do not use translation but rather enhance comprehension through communication. My method starts with listening and recognition of sounds, then repetition/speaking, and finally reading and writing. All my lessons include introduction into Canadian history, culture and geographic description.
