About Jonah
I have been teaching English for 14 years to everyone from young children to older adults practice their speaking ability and help them reduce their accents, understand new vocabulary and guide them to becoming a more fluent English speaker. I have taught many students who are now fluent in the language with no trace of accent! I am also fluent in Mandarin and occasionally use this skill to help students understand certain words or illustrate the differences and similarities between the two languages.

I use a lot of conversational speaking in my classes as well as course materials. A typical class would be to practice some simple conversations and then move on to the courseware. During the study period I often elaborate and create more opportunities to talk, correcting the student's pronunciation and grammar as we learn. I try to keep the classes interesting and fun - not boring!
