About Robert
Like many other excellent maths students, I was lucky to have great maths teachers at primary and secondary schools, so I built on from there and always was one of the top maths students in my class in primary, secondary and at university.
I obtained a bachelor of Electronics and Communication Engineering in Australia and currently working for a large company.
Tutoring maths is my pastime passion and very happy to see my students from hating maths or not doing well on maths to become good at maths and enjoy solving maths problems/questions after being tutored by myself.

Hi everyone,
As you are reading my profile, there is a very high chance that you are looking for an excellent maths tutor/teacher for yourself or for your children; if that is the reason, then you have found one who is a reliable, passionate and excellent maths tutor.
My maths teaching methods are very simple and solving maths questions/problems should be easy and fun. I have been tutoring my children for over 10 years and their maths' levels are always one year ahead of the current Melbourne (Australia) maths curriculum. Below are key points of my teaching methods:
* Based on students' current maths text books;
* Go direct to maths questions or theories where students do not understand, then explain to students until they fully understand the theories and can solve the maths exercise/questions themselves;
* Encourage students to spend as much time as they can to apply their understanding by solving maths exercises/questions in their current maths text books, because practice makes it perfect!, like everything else we do in life;
I am keen and have passion to help and teach maths for those who need to improve their maths problem solving skills and be come good at maths at level from year4 to year10, as I believe that those levels are the foundations, once you are very good at maths at these levels, you shall find maths is easy and fund and very confident in continuing to learn and teach yourself maths at higher levels (year 11, 12 and university).
You might wonder what is my qualifications that relate to maths, I was one of the top 3 maths students at my school during my Highschool time, and had High Distinction in maths during uni time and I completed my Bachelor of Electronics and Communication Engineering degree in Australia.
