About Eliza

My interest in Excel developed while working with data-intensive academic and professional projects, where accuracy and structure were essential. This led me to complete a B.Sc in Business Analytics, where I gained strong experience in data handling and analysis tools. Over 10 years of teaching, I have helped students from varied backgrounds develop confidence and precision in using Excel for real-world applications.

I believe Excel should feel logical rather than intimidating. Many learners struggle because they memorize steps without understanding structure, so I focus on explaining workflows clearly and patiently. I adapt my teaching approach to each learner’s pace, ensuring they feel supported and encouraged while building competence. Creating a calm, practical learning environment is central to my teaching style.

Outside teaching, I continue working with data analysis tools and improving spreadsheet models for efficiency and clarity. Teaching Excel is rewarding because I see learners gain independence and confidence. Helping students turn raw data into meaningful insights remains one of the most satisfying aspects of my work.

About the lesson

Excel lessons are designed to help students move from basic spreadsheet usage to confident, structured data analysis. I guide learners through data entry, formatting, formulas, functions, charts, tables, and logical workflows that make spreadsheets efficient and reliable. Concepts are explained carefully so students understand not only what a function does, but how and when to use it effectively in real situations. Lessons emphasize clarity, accuracy, and confidence in handling data.

Beginners focus on understanding the Excel interface, cell referencing, simple formulas, and data organization methods. Intermediate learners work with logical functions, conditional formatting, lookup functions, pivot tables, and error handling. Advanced learners explore data analysis techniques, dashboard creation, automation concepts, and exam or workplace-oriented problem solving. Each lesson includes practical exercises, guided correction, and step-by-step reinforcement to ensure understanding.

Excel lessons also help learners develop attention to detail, structured thinking, and professional confidence. As students gain control over data, they become more efficient and organized in academic and professional tasks. My goal is to help learners feel capable and independent when working with spreadsheets, transforming Excel into a practical and empowering skill.
