About Thomas
I have 6+ years experience working as a trained and qualified Math teacher in the UK, working with pupils from grades 7-12. I have recently moved to Canada and am looking forward to working in the Okanagan.
I have worked in a variety of schools with both students who require a lot of support as well as those who need more challenges in order to fulfill their potential. I have experience and have enjoyed teaching students with autism, special educational needs and ADHD as well as who are gifted in the area of mathematics.

Learning mathematics should be a logical and easy to understand journey. However in a classroom setting it is easy to become confused and lost along the way. In a friendly and relaxed way I will guide you through any problems and help you to navigate any tricky spots.
I will begin each topic by assessing your skills and knowledge, before I address any misconceptions and go through the topic in more detail. We will then typically work through some examples together before you practice some problems independently.
My aim to create confident, successful and happy students.
I am available to tutor for learners between 7-16 years of age.
