Hello and welcome! My name is Kohl, and I’m a qualified educator with a Bachelor of Education and a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership. I currently work in a secondary school setting, where I support students of all backgrounds in achieving their full potential. With over a decade of experience in education, I bring not only professional expertise but also a deep understanding of how to build confidence, foster motivation, and support individual growth. My tutoring sessions are warm, personalized, and entirely student-paced. About the lesson

As a qualified and experienced educator, my teaching approach is highly individualized, student-centered, and paced according to each learner’s needs. I believe that students thrive when they feel understood, supported, and challenged at just the right level. Every learner is unique, and I tailor my methods to meet them where they are—academically, emotionally, and cognitively.

Teaching Methodology & Techniques
I use a flexible and responsive teaching style grounded in Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles. This means lessons are designed to offer multiple means of engagement, representation, and expression. I incorporate a variety of strategies—visual aids, guided practice, questioning techniques, real-life applications, and tech-enhanced learning tools—to ensure understanding from multiple angles. I also prioritize building confidence and curiosity, not just content mastery.

 A Typical Lesson
A standard session begins with a brief check-in to see how the student is feeling and review previous material. From there, we move into new content or skills, broken into manageable chunks. I include mini-assessments and guided exercises throughout to check for understanding. Lessons close with a quick reflection or recap, often with a fun twist or real-world connection to keep motivation high. Homework or optional practice is suggested, not assigned, depending on the student's needs and goals.
