About Ro
I’m a Theology and Religious Studies graduate from the University of Edinburgh with a passion for helping students succeed in GCSE and A Level Religious Studies. I love making complex ideas accessible and seeing students grow in confidence. Teaching allows me to share my enthusiasm for big questions and thoughtful discussion. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy walking my dog Donnie, going for lunch with friends, hiking in nature, and dancing to unwind. I believe learning should feel encouraging and enjoyable, and I aim to create a supportive space where students feel confident to ask questions and reach their potential.

Hi! I’m a dedicated and friendly tutor with a strong academic background in Theology and Religious Studies. I achieved an A in A Level Religious Studies and went on to earn a 2:1 degree in Theology and Religious Studies from the University of Edinburgh. I now specialise in tutoring GCSE and A Level Religious Studies, helping students build confidence, master exam technique, and deepen their understanding of the subject. Whether you’re tackling tricky philosophical arguments, ethical theories, or world religion content, I provide structured, supportive lessons tailored to your learning style and goals. I focus on developing critical thinking, clear writing, and essay planning skills—all essential for top grades in RS. I’ve worked with students of varying abilities and am passionate about making Religious Studies engaging, accessible, and relevant. Whether you’re aiming for a higher grade or just want to feel more confident in your subject, I’m here to help you succeed. I offer online tutoring for flexibility and convenience, and I hold a Basic DBS check, giving students and parents peace of mind.
