About Estie

Hello! My name is Estie, and I am a dedicated educator with over five years of classroom teaching and tutoring experience. I specialize in mathematics, science, as well as teaching bilingual English-Hebrew students at the elementary, middle school, and high school levels.

I hold a degree in Molecular, Cellular, and Medical Biology, which gives me a strong foundation in the sciences and allows me to explain complex concepts in a clear and engaging way.

I believe every student is capable of success with the right encouragement, guidance, and learning strategies.

I am committed to creating a patient and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, thinking critically, and building confidence in their abilities.

My goal is to help students develop the skills they need to become independent, successful learners while fostering a genuine understanding of the material.

About the lesson

I create a supportive learning environment tailored to each student's individual pace, strengths, learning preferences, and abilities. I encourage students to ask questions, think critically, and develop independent problem-solving skills while building confidence in their academic abilities.

A typical lesson begins with a review of previously covered material and any questions the student may have. We then work through new concepts step by step, using guided examples followed by independent practice. Throughout the lesson, I regularly check for understanding and adjust the pace as needed. At the end of each session, I summarize the key concepts, identify any areas that need additional practice, and provide strategies to reinforce learning.

I bring a strong combination of over five years of classroom teaching and tutoring experience, teaching mathematics, science, and other subjects to elementary, middle school, and high school students. I also hold a pre-med degree in Molecular, Cellular, and Medical Biology, giving me a strong foundation in the sciences.

As a fluent speaker of both English and Hebrew, I am able to support bilingual students and explain challenging concepts in the language that best helps them succeed.

My goal is not only to improve grades but also to help students build confidence, strengthen critical thinking skills, and develop a genuine understanding of the material.

My lessons are designed for elementary, middle school, and high school students studying mathematics and science, as well as Hebrew.
