About Mary-Ann

Mary-Ann graduated from the Fashion Design & Technique program at Sheridan College, Oakville Ontario. After working in many fashion clothing manufacturers, Mary-Ann started her own line of clothing. She continues to design and make small batches of eco-friendly fashion while passing on some of her knowledge to her students. Mary-Ann has put together sewing workshops in her studio with small classes of 3 to 4 students as well as providing private tutoring.

About the lesson

If you are new to pattern drafting clothing, you will start to draft a basic pattern based on your measurements or if you have a good basic pattern we can get to work on alteration to make new styles.

If you are a fashion student or have some pattern drafting knowledge, I can help you get to where you are going.

I will provide a large table area to work on with paper and tools to draft your new patterns. You should have some sewing skills so that the new information about how to draft a pattern for sewing makes sense. If you would like to learn to sew, see my ad for machine sewing.
