About Troy

I am an Economics tutor with over 8 years of experience, teaching school students, college learners, and working professionals. I teach core areas like microeconomics, macroeconomics, and econometrics with a simple and clear approach. My teaching style is based on positivity, empathy, and critical thinking. I help students understand real-world economic problems and support them in building strong analytical skills. I also guide them in exam preparation, assignments, and practical applications. About the lesson

My teaching methodology in Economics is centered around positivity, empathy, and critical thinking. I create a safe and encouraging space where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and learning at their own pace. I believe economics is not just about numbers and graphs—it’s about understanding the world, making decisions, and thinking deeply about resources, policies, and people’s behavior.

As a mentor, I help students develop strong analytical and reasoning skills by guiding them through real-life examples, case studies, and current events. I use simple explanations and encourage active discussions so students can connect theory to everyday life. I support them in breaking down complex ideas in microeconomics, macroeconomics, and even econometrics, into manageable and clear parts.

I tailor my lessons to fit each student’s needs, making sure they stay motivated and confident. Besides Economics, I also teach related subjects to give students a broader understanding of the field. With my supportive and reflective approach, students not only improve their grades but also grow into independent and thoughtful learners.
