About Diana

Hello!
My name is Diana.
I am an experienced teacher. My professional goal is to help people from all over the world to study Russian language interestingly and effectively, in a comfortable and respectful environment.

I am from Russia, Moscow, where I received Bachelor`s and Master’s degrees in Education with a qualification in Teaching Russian as a second language. I am fully qualified for teaching kids, teenagers, and adults. I am trained in the methodology of teaching languages to non-native speakers, psychology of learning, and intercultural communication.

I have been teaching Russian for 6 years to a wide range of students from more than 15 countries (China, USA, France, Germany, South Korea, Spain, Italy, etc).

I enjoy working with people from different cultures.
I believe that the best way of learning a foreign language is to have the student speak and express their thoughts as much as possible, and also to provide students with a solid grammar and vocabulary base.

I know that learning a foreign language is not easy. I respect and appreciate those people who have decided to devote their time and energy to studying a foreign language and foreign culture. That is why my students and their progress are very important to me.

Talking about my personality, I could say I am very kind and patient, active and curious. My hobbies are going to new places, doing oil painting, swimming and reading .

About the lesson

Depends on student's age, goals, and level of current Russian language acquisition, we can work in communicative approach with the use of a wide range of learning tools and materials:

textbooks,
presentations,
schemes,
videos,
podcasts,
infographics,
articles,
comics,
flashcards,
interactive activities,
role-playing,
and much more.

With intermediate and advanced students we also can work in Dogme and Lexical approaches, in addition to communicative approach.

If your goal is to enhance a specific language skill, like pronunciation, reading, academic writing, etc., I will be more than happy to help with that!

I always keep track on my students' progress and I am ready to support them emotionally and encourage them to keep moving forward and enjoy their journey.

My lessons are for people who have decided to devote their time and energy to studying the Russian language and Russian culture!

I both welcome young learners and adults!
