About Anne
I am a trained educator with many years of experience teaching students from all walks of life. I have experience working with students from Chinese, Vietnamese, Arabic, and Mediterranean backgrounds etc. and have taught both online and in-person.
I try to meet each student where they are at, and build upon skills to promote increased receptive (understanding) and expressive (speaking) language mastery. I also teach English reading and writing. I strongly believe the most effective learning takes place in a relaxed and supportive environment. Each lesson plan includes learning objectives, practice modules, and time to discuss ideas and explain concepts. Positive feedback guides each student towards his/her learning goals.

I teach all ages - from young children to adult learners. Each lesson is individually tailored to match the needs of the student and includes time to identify challenges (learning objectives), and to practice in a comfortable, supportive environment. Emphasis on fun and positivity for young learners. I believe the best learning takes place in a structured setting that allows students to build upon their knowledge. Students are given positive feedback and lots of encouragement as they master skills.
