About Gayane

As a qualified English teacher, I have taught a wide range of courses throughout my career (general English, Academic English, Business English and Communication, IELTS and TOEFL preparation, etc.)
At this stage of my career, I enjoy working part-time providing tutoring for individuals and/or small groups (adults and young adults). My main focus is on helping my students improve their English skills and knowledge, and gain confidence. I find this hugely rewarding.

About the lesson

For me, the teaching/learning experience is based on addressing the students' needs.
I usually follow a structured lesson plan, however I don't mind improvising and being flexible from time to time.
By applying interactive approach I heavily rely on communicative methods. I'm flexible in terms of using different techniques - depends on the student's strengths and weaknesses.
I find ways to inspire my students and help them reach their goals.
