About Maria
I'm a graduating BA student at TRU and am considering entering the education program. I'm looking for more experience helping both children and adults learn. I spent several years travelling as an ESL teacher abroad before university, and volunteered as an ESL tutor during my degree.
My degree major was in Geography, which means I'm versed in multiple academic disciplines. In addition to the courses related to my program that included history, economics, earth sciences, basic physical sciences, general humanities and social sciences, I also took initiative to use my elective credits for experience with business administration courses and courses on creative, academic and business communication writing.
