Last summer my daughter who was 9 at the time enrolled in a summer program to learn how to sew. During the program she was able to learn how to cut and sew. Surprisingly, she got very handy with using the machine and she can now help out with mending of clothes around the house. I am not into sewing myself but everyday when she comes home, she usually explained all she did and I was very impressed. She also got take home assignments which she practiced during the week. At the end of the program she made a dress which was very impressive, considering she went only once a week for about an hour. I would give Elizabeth a 5 star rating when I consider the age of my daughter and the skills she was able to acquire under such a short duration. Elizabeth is very patient but firm. I guarantee you that it is a very good life skill investment.
