About Ledger

I am a flute tutor dedicated to nurturing both skill and a love for music in my students. My teaching emphasizes creativity, critical thinking, and personal growth alongside technical development. Lessons focus on tone, phrasing, rhythm, breath control, and expressive playing. I also teach music theory, sight-reading, and listening to ensure a well-rounded understanding. Accountability is part of my approach, helping students set goals, practice consistently, and reflect on progress. I encourage improvisation, musical storytelling, and composition to develop creativity. Mistakes are treated as learning opportunities, and I focus on building confidence and independence. I act as a mentor, offering guidance, support, and motivation tailored to each student’s needs. My lessons are flexible, enjoyable, and adapted to different ages and learning styles. I also teach related subjects such as theory, performance preparation, and rhythm. I aim to help students become thoughtful, expressive, and confident musicians. My teaching encourages curiosity, problem-solving, and self-reflection. I create a supportive and inspiring environment where students feel motivated to grow. My goal is to help students develop technical skill while enjoying the journey of music.

About the lesson

I teach flute with a focus on creativity, critical thinking, and accountability. My goal is to make every student enjoy learning while developing strong musical and personal skills. Each lesson encourages exploration and curiosity. I help students understand the meaning behind music, not just how to play it. As a mentor, I guide them with care and patience.

My classes are well-structured but flexible, allowing students to learn at their own pace. I emphasize consistent practice and goal-setting for steady progress. I teach students how to listen carefully to themselves and others. Creative activities like improvisation and short compositions make lessons fun.
