About Earl
I have been playing guitar for over 20 years, taught in music stores for 5 years, and independently for another 6. I write my own music, and have since I started, and have extensive knowledge of songwriting as well as playing different styles of music. I started out playing metal and punk, but as time went on, broadened my playing to include blues, country, folk, rock, bluegrass, and even a bit of classical. I welcome people to introduce me to new music

I base my lessons directly around what the student wants to learn. For example, if someone wants to learn metal and shows me some bands they like, I will show them how to play any songs that they are wanting to learn, but also show them the techniques and the theory behind what they are playing.
