About Anna
Hi! I’m a dedicated high school saxophonist with 5 years of experience in both jazz and concert band. In 2025, I received the Best Jazz Student Award, and I am currently involved in five music programs at my school, including jazz ensembles and concert band.
I am also a member of a jazz combo that is actively performing and seeking gig opportunities, which allows me to continuously grow as a musician through real performance experience.
Music is a major part of my life, and I’m passionate about helping younger students build strong fundamentals, confidence, and enjoyment in playing. As a current student performer, I understand what band directors look for and how to help beginners succeed in school band settings.

I offer beginner-friendly saxophone lessons for elementary and middle school students. With 5 years of experience in both jazz and concert band, I focus on building strong fundamentals including tone production, technique, rhythm, and music reading.
Lessons are personalized to each student’s level and goals. Whether your child is just starting band or wants extra support outside of school, I aim to create a supportive and encouraging environment that builds both skill and confidence.
Students will learn:
• Proper embouchure and breathing technique
• Scales and foundational exercises
• Sight-reading skills
• Jazz or concert repertoire (depending on interest)
• Practice strategies for consistent improvement
My goal is to help young musicians enjoy playing while developing solid musical foundations.
