About Kashish
Hi! I'm currently studying a Master of Design in Architecture at the University of Sydney, having previously completed a double degree in Civil Engineering (Honours) and Architecture. I’ve always loved working with numbers and problem-solving, which naturally led me to tutoring HSC Maths. I’ve been tutoring for over a year now, both online and in-person, helping students from Year 6 to Year 12 improve their confidence and results.
I genuinely enjoy breaking down tricky concepts into simple steps and adapting my teaching style to suit each student. I know how stressful school can be—I’m here to help make maths a little less scary and a lot more manageable. My approach to tutoring is all about making maths less intimidating and more logical. I begin by understanding the student’s current level, learning style, and specific goals. From there, I create a structured plan that builds confidence through small, achievable steps. Each lesson typically starts with a quick review of previous content to reinforce understanding, followed by a focus on current topics or problem areas. I use real-world examples and visual explanations to make abstract concepts more relatable. If a student is preparing for exams or assignments, we also incorporate revision strategies and time-management tips. What sets my tutoring apart is that I don’t just teach formulas—I help students understand why things work, encouraging deeper thinking rather than memorisation. I’m patient, adaptable, and genuinely passionate about seeing my students progress. Whether someone is struggling or aiming to get ahead, I tailor every session to support their individual journey.
