About Dakota
I am a project manager and safety instructor who has been teaching for the last decade. I have several different instructional techniques courses and truly enjoy teaching. Math is one of my favourite things to teach because it is such a transitional subject. You really need to understand the basics before you can advance and it's so easy to miss one of the basic steps.

Different people learn in different ways. I think it is important to determine how a person learns before I try to teach them anything. A good instructor can explain the same topic or concept in several different ways in order to accommodate different learning styles.
