About Kate

Hi there!
My name is Katie. I am a LAMDA teacher who gets results! I am fun, jolly and manage to make the class something to look forward to on a weekly basis! I have been teaching for 25 years, so one could call me 'old school', but I can assure you I am not in my approach or mind. I have worked in Spain and Ireland, but now I am based in West Wales where I was born - home. I am currently working in a primary school but am very at home teaching to 18 years and beyond. I also teach ESOL a subject I feel which can go hand in hand with LAMDA as it is a different and unique way of learning English. I am great with virtual classes, one had to be during the pandemic and the time seriously whizzes by! I look forward to meeting you soon :)

About the lesson

I'm a fully qualified LAMDA teacher with a wealth of experience and have a 100% pass rate from introductory levels to grade 8 in Verse and Prose, Acting, Public Speaking, Devised Drama, Reading for Performance and Mime . I am fun and make the lesson which would run for about 30 to 40 minutes, something to really look forward to on a weekly basis! I have been teaching for 25 years so one could call me 'old school' but I can assure you I am not in my approach or mind. I am at home teaching from 6 years to 18 years and beyond. I am fun, jolly and obtain amazing results. I also teach ESOL a subject which can go hand in hand with LAMDA. I am well spoken and articulate. Pronunciation and Presentation are important to me. I'm especially good at building up confidence with a child which means so much with there personality and journey through life.
