About Alice
I am a graduate from the University of Oxford (BA Classics, 2021) and the University of Cambridge (MPhil in Classics, 2024). I have taught English in France, and Latin in England (at Dauntsey's School). I have also previously prepared students for Oxbridge entrance, via mock interviews, seminars and structured preparation courses. I did Course II at Oxford, meaning that I didn't have either classical language before I started; I am therefore well aware of how intimidating the whole process can be! As a tutor, I try to be as friendly, approachable, and helpful as possible, while still providing rigorous preparation.

I offer support throughout the entire process of Oxbridge preparation, including choosing a course / college, suggestions for further reading, writing the personal statement, developing interview skills, and preparing for entrance exams. I am an experienced tutor and teacher of Latin, with prior experience of successfully preparing students for Oxbridge applications. Typical sessions would be an hour in length, every 1-2 weeks, but I am very willing to be flexible on this front!
