About Dimakatso

I'm an experienced grade 10 and 11 life sciences tutor based in Roodepoort. I'm passionate about helping grade 10 and 11 learners succeed in Biology/life sciences. I've been teaching life sciences for 4+years and I know exactly where learners get stuck. Life sciences is not about memorising, it is about understanding diagrams and processes. That is what I teach.
I'm very patient and friendly and I explain in simple English until it makes sense.
I'm not a strict school teacher, I'm a tutor who listens. If you are shy in class to ask questions, you will be free and comfortable with me.

About the lesson

I'm a very passionate teacher with 4+ years teaching life sciences.
Many learners find life sciences difficult because schools move too fast, I take it slow ..step by step and make it simple.
I cover all grade 10 and 11 CAPS topics including :

GRADE 10: Chemistry of life, Basic unit of life, Plant and animal tissues, Support systems in plants and Animals, Transport system, Ecosystem, History of life on earth etc.

GRADE 11: Photosynthesis, Cellular Respiration, Gaseous exchange, Nutrition, Excretion, Biodiversity of plants and animals, Human impact on environment etc.
