About the lesson
My approach is to engage and motivate students, and then to break down analysis and essay structure into manageable parts, thus teaching the process as well as how to construct both academic and creative paper. In creative writing, my goal is to help students find their own artistic voice and to help refine this in their work.

Qualifying in1997 from the University of Liverpool, I have over twenty years of professional experience in the UK, Ireland and Canada, and am currently teaching full time in Toronto. I am an IB examiner and curriculum advisor, and am able to motivate students to fulfil their potential.
