About Wei (Vivi)

Hi! I’m a native Mandarin speaker from China, currently based in Canada.

I have over 10 years of experience working in both the business and education sectors, which includes teaching Mandarin to students of various ages. As a teacher holding a Teacher’s Qualification Certificate, I know how to make learning effective and enjoyable.

My teaching focuses on practical application—helping you improve your speaking, perfect your pronunciation, and build confidence in real-life communication. Whether you are learning for personal interest, travel, or career growth, I am here to help you succeed!

My Teaching Style
Every student is unique, which is why my classes are 100% customized to your specific level, goals, and learning pace. I use structured and interactive teaching methods to ensure you not only understand the material but can actually use it in real life.

What I Teach
I specialize in teaching Adults, but Kids are also very welcome! Here is what we can focus on:

For Adults:
• Beginner Chinese: Building a solid foundation step-by-step.
• Pronunciation & Tones: Mastering Pinyin and tones so you can sound natural.
• Daily Conversation: Practical vocabulary and grammar for real-life situations (travel, work, making friends).

For Kids (Ages 6–15):
• Fun, engaging, and age-appropriate lessons to keep them interested while building basic language skills.

A Little About Me
Outside of teaching, I am passionate about traveling and learning about different cultures. I love connecting with students from all over the world. Language is a bridge, and I enjoy sharing Chinese culture while learning about yours!
