About Abu-Bakr
I am a fully qualified teacher. I have been tutoring for 3 years now both online and in person. I teach KS2, KS3 Maths along with both GCSE and A-Level Maths.
With my younger students, I try to keep sessions engaging and as fun as possible - an example being, incorporating activities for children to do that also help to reach the aim of the session.
I often work with students who are finding maths difficult and appreciate the patience and support needed. I have found that with a lot of students they know more than they realise and just need a confidence boost. Lessons are kept friendly and humour is always encouraged and used where appropriate.
I studied for my Maths degree at the University of Essex and then proceeded to do my Secondary Maths PGCE at IOE (UCL).
